Come sapete il 2 Luglio è stato il Canada Day e i Simple Plan hanno fatto un concerto speciale a Montreal e Seb e Pat hanno registrato un nuovo episodio per Man Of The Hour che sarà presto scaricabile.

Informative of my past 2 days

Tuesday
Today we played the biggest show we have ever played. They said 60 000… then 100 000… but then 150 000 people showed up at the show we did in quebec city for canada day. It was a big deal for us to play there and there was a lot of people that came to support the band and to have a good time with us. It feels good to play so close to home and to feel the love from the people that live where we live. It was a good day. A very good day.

Wednesday
I was driving back from Quebec city with patrick in the morning when we figured we would stop by my house to record a radio show. Pat and i have a show that turns into a free podcast on itunes called the man of the hour hour. So we sat outside (us canadians try to soak up as much as summer as possible because it’s very short) and picked some songs and recorded what we had to say. I really like radio… or internet radio… We had a great time today. Now i’m packing my bags because we fly out to florida tomorrow morning!!!

I Simple Plan hanno portato a casa per la quinta volta consecutiva il premio per “Best Band” ai Much Music Video Awards.

Sebastien: A big thank you to all the voters. For the 5th time, last night we won the people’s choice award at the Much Music Video Awards and it is all and only because of all of you guys that voted for Simple Plan.
I always knew we had the best fans in the world because we have won this award every single time we have been nominated for it. So that is 5 in 5 for us.
After the event, that seems like a total tornado on our end by the way, we went out to celebrate, and have fun we sure did!! Every body is really really happy and excited. You guys are still there for us, and you have no idea how much we appreciate it.
